From Personal Experience to Community Resource
Oils & Herbs was born from my own experience seeking culturally-affirming wellness care in North Carolina. After struggling to find practitioners who understood and honored my family’s traditions, I realized there was a critical need for wellness services that bridge ancestral wisdom with modern approaches.
What began as a personal quest to preserve my family’s wellness traditions evolved into a mission to help other families in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Apex, and Cary reconnect with their heritage while navigating modern health challenges.

I was born into a family of natural caregivers. My great-grandmother healed animals and children alike with remedies from her Louisiana kitchen, and my mother carried that same spirit—always opening her heart and home to care for others. From them, I inherited a legacy of compassion, healing, and connection.
Caregiving is more than what I do—it is who I am. Rooted in the wisdom from Mother Earth, I believe each birth is sacred: a new ancestor arriving, aligned with a journey chosen just for them. Serving families in these moments is an honor, and I carry deep gratitude for the traditions and ancestors who guide us.
Today, I continue this path by offering Birth Support Services, Herbal Wellness & Nutrition, Toxic-Free Home Organization, and Essential Oil Consultations. My approach is a blend of traditional, modern, and sometimes beautifully old-fashioned practices. No matter the form of care, my mission is the same: to nurture trust, create comfort, and empower families to embrace their wholeness.
